Before After
Street View
This is the view of the property from the front sidewalk. The property was fortunate to have a half dozen mature pecan and oak trees which provided a shady, inviting porch.
Living Room
A craftsman era front entry door complete with stained glass lights and exterior dentil shelf was added in addition to 9 lite french doors to the study consistent with the popular Wright-inspired prairie style popular at the time the home was built. Stained trim was used in the living room and throughout the home, again consistent with this period and prior to the popularity of painted trim.
Dining Room
This is the view of the dining room looking in from the living area. As was common during the Arts & Crafts period of bungalow design, a bookcase colonnade was added to separate the living and dining areas.
Kitchen
The former 80's style galley kitchen was completely demolished and replaced with beautiful solid oak cabinetry and period electrical lighting fixtures. Although not common to the period, black granite countertops were added for beauty and durability. Visible at the ceiling is one of the brass HVAC registers with a period scroll-cut design.

Master Bath
The bathroom was completely rebuilt from the infarstructure up. Besides adding some sorely needed space, a period clawfoot tub, towel warmer and frameless shower were added to make this a private spa for the new owner.
Bedroom
The bedroom was equipped with new period lighting as well as stained crown molding and solid oak builtin cabinetry.
